


I have many… but my favorite upscale restaurant would be CBD Provisions. I’m a collector of hobbies… I enjoy riding and working on my bicycle, playing music, drawing, and making things. I would probably pursue computer science or something else related to programming. If you weren’t doing architecture what would you do? I don’t have an all-time favorite architect, but currently really into the work of Francisco and Manuel Aires Mateus based out of Portugal. I received my graduate degree from the University of Michigan and undergraduate at UT-Arlington. I typically seem to move around a lot though. I’m currently working on the Energy Square redevelopment and the Provo Towne Centre revitalization. What project are you currently working on? She never really travelled much, but I do remember her always saying, “These books take me to wonderful places” she always knew a little bit about everything. She was a brilliant and insightful woman who would always have a book in her hands. Past or present, who would you like to have dinner with and why? My grandmother. What do you listen to on the way to work? I usually walk to work, so I love listening to the busy streets of Downtown Dallas. Who is your alter-ego? (Pop-culture figure, TV personality, super hero, etc…) James Bond Where is your dream vacation? Chile hiking and camping my way through the scenic routes from Punta Arenas to San Pedro de Atacama. Most of these events and locations also happen to be free of charge p What’s your favorite thing about Dallas? There is always something to do or visit: museums, concerts, festivals, shopping, sporting events, and much more. What’s your favorite Dallas restaurant? Dive Coastal Cuisine Soccer, every Tuesday at Grand Samuel Park So the idea of getting paid for traveling sounds amazing! I really enjoy experiencing different cultures around the world and of course its architecture. If you weren’t doing architecture what would you do? I don’t think I see myself doing anything else, but if I had to choose, I’d be a travel critic writer. Who’s your favorite architect? Zaha Hadid What’s your Alma Mater? University of Texas at Arlington I lived in Germany for a year as an exchange student, so I like to think I am somewhat decent at speaking German. What’s something not many people know about you? What project are you currently working on? CoolSprings Galleria Mall and La Plaza Mall Expansion Meet Paloma Rodriguez, a designer who’s been with us for a little over a year.
